Job summary

Wasserman in Orpington is seeking a Deputy Manager for the Finishing Unit of our Large Format Print operation. You will lead the finishing team, ensuring finished products meet campaign specifications and are ready for installation or use.

You will support the Finishing Unit Manager, manage workloads, and coordinate with production management to deliver projects on time while maintaining high quality standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in planning and scheduling of large format graphics production.
• Passionate about servicing clients internal and external.
• Great attention to detail with strong verbal, written and presentational communication.
• Experience of print and finishing production techniques for large format graphics.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills (training provided for MIS system).
• Ability to prioritise and think logically and methodically.

Responsibilities

• Work within a busy finishing department to deliver tasks daily.
• Follow campaign and event finishing requirements and instructions.
• Report to Finishing Unit Manager and collaborate with production teams.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Manage workloads and scheduling on MIS system (training provided).
• Oversee finishing duties: cutting, laminating, hand finishing, eyelets and hemming.
