Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Finisher to work on void properties around Darlington, delivering plastering, painting, decorating and finishing trades within social housing schemes.

You will join a reputable subcontractor active in regeneration projects across the Yorkshire and Derbyshire region. The role offers regular week-to-week work with standard 40-hour weeks, typically 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute break.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Finisher / Multi-Skilled Trades.
• Social housing experience is essential.
• Own tools and transport are required.
• CSCS card is required.
• Provide 2 x checkable references if not previously engaged with Fawkes & Reece.

Responsibilities

• Boxing in pipework, corking, painting/decorating, silicone joints, attaching skirtings, plaster-patching, easing doors and replacing 2-3 tiles.
• 40 hours per week, 8am–4pm with a 30 minute break, Monday to Friday.
• Work in void properties for councils/housing associations, in Derbyshire/around Darlington area.

Finisher required in and around Darlington to work in void properties on behalf of councils/housing associations. This scheme is a mixture of responsive repairs and kitchen and bathroom schemes.

The Client

Our client is an award winning sub contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates around the Yorkshire and Derbyshire regions.

The Role

Main duties are boxing in pipe work, corking, painting/decorating, silicone joints, attaching skirtings, plaster-patching, easing doors and replacing 2-3 tiles.

The total hours are 40 per week, 8am - 4:00pm with a 30 minute break - Monday to Friday.
