Job summary

A Finisher is needed in and around Chesterfield to work on void properties for councils and housing associations, combining repairs with kitchen and bathroom schemes.

Our client, a reputable regional sub-contractor, delivers regeneration projects across Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

The role runs 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with a 12-month contract; applicants must have CSCS, own tools, transport, and asbestos awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Finisher/Multi-Skilled Trades in social housing.
• Own tools and own transport; CSCS card.
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness or willing to take online course.
• Clean shaven for facefit testing; provide 2 referees if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.

Responsibilities

• Boxing in pipe work, corking, painting/decorating, silicone joints.
• Attaching skirtings, plaster-patching, easing doors and replacing 2-3 tiles.
• Hours are 37.5 per week (8:00–16:00), Monday to Friday on a 12-month contract.

Job description

Finisher required in and around Chesterfield to work in void properties on behalf of councils/housing associations. This scheme is a mixture of responsive repairs and kitchen and bathroom schemes.

The Client

Our client is an award winning sub contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates around the Yorkshire and Derbyshire regions.

The Role

Main duties are boxing in pipe work, corking, painting/decorating, silicone joints, attaching skirtings, plaster-patching, easing doors and replacing 2-3 tiles.

The total hours are 37.5 per week, 8am - 4:00pm with a 30 minute break - Monday to Friday. This contract is for 12 months work.

• Street Parking
• Work with a reputable social housing contractor who work on various schemes within Derbyshire
• Regular work on a week-to-week basis, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Finisher/Multi-Skilled Trades
• Social housing experience
• Own Tools
• Valid CSCS Card
• Own Transport
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online course
• Must be wiling to be clean shaven to be facefit tested
• You must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.
