Job summary

One to One Personnel Limited is representing a well‑established employer seeking a skilled Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker in Rayleigh. The role focuses on fabricating, assembling, and finishing sheet metal parts to high quality standards.

You will work with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel, performing MIG/TIG welding and operating brake and hydraulic presses. A strong eye for detail and safety‑minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar.
• Strong mechanical understanding and confidence working with metal materials.
• Good awareness of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Measuring parts and carrying out general inspection during manufacture.
• Working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
• MIG/TIG welding.
• Operating brake press and hydraulic press machinery.
• Assembly work, including spot welding.
• Grinding, deburring, and drilling.
• Supporting general workshop tasks as required.

Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker | Rayleigh | £18.00–£20.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker looking to join a well‑established and growing company? Do you take pride in producing precise, high‑quality metal components? Our client is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their successful team.

In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and finish a variety of sheet metal parts, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of their products. Key Responsibilities

• Measuring parts and carrying out general inspection during manufacture


• Working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel


• MIG/TIG welding


• Operating brake press and hydraulic press machinery


• Assembly work, including spot welding


• Grinding, deburring, and drilling


• Supporting general workshop tasks as required

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar, ideally within automotive or aerospace


• Strong mechanical understanding and confidence working with metal materials


• Good awareness of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment


• Excellent hand‑eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail

What’s in it for you?

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (overtime available at time and a third)


• Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm


• No weekend work


• £18.00–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience
