Job summary

Hotel Gotham – Newcastle invites applications for a Waiter/Waitress at Siren, the signature fine dining restaurant. You will join a passionate team delivering refined service from arrival to departure, acting as host and guide with in-depth menu knowledge and attention to guest needs.

Collaborating with culinary and sommelier teams, you will ensure a seamless dining experience, upselling where appropriate and maintaining impeccable front-of-house standards in a five-star setting.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Deliver warm, personalised, and elegant service to every guest, in line with fine dining standards.
• Restaurant Operations: Prepare the restaurant for service and support with table setting, cleanliness, and table resets.
• Product Knowledge & Upselling: Understand the menu and wine/beverage options; upsell where appropriate.
• Compliance & Health and Safety: Follow all health, safety, allergen and hygiene guidelines.
