Job summary

Morse Money is seeking a Financial Crime Strategy and Product Lead to own the roadmap for detecting and preventing fraud, money laundering, and sanctions risk across markets. Qualifications

• Data-driven decision-maker with SQL proficiency.
• Proven track record leading financial crime detection projects.
• Hands-on experience building detection platforms.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or crypto is preferred.
• Strategic thinker capable of owning roadmaps.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with US/EU/UK regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial crime roadmap and translate obligations into a buildable plan.
• Manage rulesets and controls using data; measure performance and optimize balance between risk and UX.
• Define requirements for detection systems and collaborate with engineering to build tooling.
• Lead deep-dive investigations to identify typologies and quantify exposure.
• Turn threats into countermeasures by designing rules, models, and workflows.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, data, operations, and compliance to embed controls.
• Define metrics and build reports showing risk and performance to leadership.
