Job Description: Financial Translator - Dutch & English, Part-time (6 months)

Location: London Bridge / Hybrid

Dow Jones Newswires is seeking a fluent Dutch and English speaker to work on the quality assessment of our auto-translation model.

The successful candidate will evaluate the translation of financial, business, and economic news from English to Dutch.

This is a part-time contract requiring some days per week at our London Bridge location.

You Will:

1. Be responsible for tasks related to R&D and QA for English-to-Dutch auto-translation, including:
   1. Vet initial QA results by our Data Strategy team
   2. Spot check auto-translated output daily
   3. Implement correction policies for Dutch products
   4. Build glossaries
   5. Create prompts to improve translation outcomes
   6. Communicate and share ideas with global colleagues to enhance quality and efficiency
   7. Interact with stakeholders (Product, Editorial, customers, partners)
2. Map third-party content to improve Dutch language offerings
3. Assist with translating templates for automated content and other translation tasks as needed

You Have:

1. Excellent knowledge of financial and economic news and terminology in English and Dutch
2. Experience with machine translation and GenAI
3. Preferably some experience in a financial newsroom
