Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a Financial Risk Manager to join the Risk team in London to support the Futures & Options (ETD's) project, set up reporting and ongoing monitoring for financial and liquidity risk management.

The role requires experience with futures and options, Python, and strong numerical skills. The team operates onsite; candidates must be able to commute to the office five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience with exchange traded and OTC derivatives (futures and options).
• Strong numerical ability with high attention to detail.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel; VBA is desirable.
• Experience in risk reporting and monitoring processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and report risk metrics; ensure breaches are reported or signed off.
• Daily interrogation, interpretation and reporting of stress testing.
• Develop and enhance reporting of market, credit counterparty, and liquidity risk.
• Promote FRM awareness and ensure stakeholders understand responsibilities.
• Input into ICARA process and contribute to monthly board-level risk reports.
• Represent Financial Risk in Group projects and support delivery objectives.
