About Our Client

This role is within the technical department of one of the largest accountancy practices in the UK.

Job Responsibilities

• Review annual reports and financial statements of public interest entities to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Research, draft, and respond to technical queries related to accounting (IFRS and UK GAAP), UK company law, and corporate reporting.
• Provide technical support and advice on accounting matters to partners and staff.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience with listing rules such as LSE or AIM, especially regarding financial reporting, is desirable.
• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience for Manager level, or 1 year for Assistant Manager.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience working in audit practice or technical roles with listed or public interest entities.
