Job summary

ICAEW, a fast-growing insurtech in Greater London, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory and regulatory reporting across a multi-entity group.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead the preparation of statutory accounts, manage external audits, coordinate regulatory reporting and oversee tax compliance across the group, while driving process improvements and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with Big 4 or Top 10 training.
• Post-qualified experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Strong technical accounting and external reporting expertise.
• Experience managing audits and preparing statutory financial statements.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and tax compliance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and disclosures.

Your new company

A fast-growing and innovative Insurtech business is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to take ownership of statutory and regulatory reporting across a complex multi-entity group.
Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you'll lead the delivery of statutory accounts, manage the external audit process, oversee regulatory reporting and coordinate tax compliance activities across the group.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and technical accounting disclosures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate the year-end audit process.
• Support the delivery of insurance regulatory and solvency reporting requirements.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance activities, indirect taxes and wider finance-related filings.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory returns across multiple entities.
• Maintain and strengthen financial reporting controls, governance and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes through automation and technology.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior finance professionals and wider stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
• Post-qualified experience gained within insurance, financial services or a regulated environment
• Strong technical accounting and external reporting expertise
• Experience managing audits and preparing statutory financial statements
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and tax compliance processes
