Job summary

Camino Search is seeking a Head of Financial Reporting for a leading UK insurer. You will own statutory accounts, regulatory returns, and group reporting, partnering with senior finance and audit colleagues to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

In a high-visibility role within a major transformation programme, you will drive improvements to reporting processes, build credibility as a trusted advisor to leadership, and guide a talented team in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting foundation with ACA/ACCA qualification preferred.
• Experience in Solvency II or regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of leading a team and challenging senior stakeholders.

• Partner closely with senior finance and audit stakeholders

What we're looking for:

• Strong technical accounting background, ideally Big 4 trained (ACA/ACCA qualified)
• Solvency II / regulatory reporting exposure highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage a team and challenge senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a hybrid environment, minimal office days required
