Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join the Group Finance function in the UK. You will oversee UK and US listed reporting, driving high quality external filings and complex accounting areas.

You will partner with Treasury, Tax and other finance teams, translate technical topics into insight for senior leaders, and liaise with external auditors in a SOX-controlled environment. This is a highly visible role with exposure to VP and SVP stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting expertise, IFRS, group reporting and consolidation in a multinational environment.
• Experience in a SOX controlled environment and handling complex accounting topics, incl. accounting papers.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with Big 4 audit background.

Responsibilities

• Support central consolidation and deliver high quality external reporting for UK/US-listed entities.
• Own complex accounting areas including acquisition accounting, impairment, and statutory adjustments.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax and other finance teams; liaise with external auditors; ensure governance.
