Job summary

Legend is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in London. You will own major areas of the monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy and robust controls across the balance sheet, P&L and cash flow.

The role emphasizes data-driven process improvements, automation using Excel and data tools, and collaboration with FP&A, Finance Operations, and other teams, within a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial reporting, management accounting or similar finance environment.
• Ability to own areas of the reporting cycle independently.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key areas of monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Prepare, review and improve balance sheet reconciliations and working papers.
• Analyze performance across balance sheet, P&L and cash flow; identify trends and risks/opportunities.
• Build and automate reporting processes using Excel and data tools.
• Use data to simplify and improve finance processes.
• Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A and wider Finance teams.
• Support audit, governance and control activities.
• Contribute to wider Finance projects as Legend scales post-acquisition.
