About the role
The Group Financial Reporting team is responsible for the production of the Annual report and accounts (ARA) and Half year results (HYR) announcement including the strategic report. The team also supports a range of additional reporting and technical accounting related tasks as required and provides technical guidance on a range of issues to the Finance function and the rest of the business.
We are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Group Financial Reporting Team on a 12 Month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which is central to the external communication and reporting of the Group's results. This role reports to the Senior Financial Reporting manager and you will be responsible for ensuring key financial deliverables are produced to a high standard and on a timely basis. This role also offers exposure across the business/wider finance function, including Investor relations, Communications, Tax and Business performance. The role requires strong communication and influencing skills in dealings with senior management and their teams. You'll work within an area committed to producing high quality work to tight deadlines with a focus on continuous improvement.
