• Reporting into a strong Financial Controller who will act as a mentor

About Our Client

My client is a growing, Private Equity backed business aiming to double in size over the next 3 years. They currently turn over circa £10 million and have extensive experience in their field.

Job Description

• Support the timely and accurate preparation and review of monthly reporting
• Provide accurate balance sheet reviews with explanations for key variances month to month
• Lead transformational projects sponsored by the CEO and CFO, working directly with them
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage 13-week rolling cash flow forecasting and communicate weekly cash flow to the CFO and Commercial Director
• Liaise with tax advisors for timely filing of annual tax returns
• Support the Financial Controller during the year-end audit and other statutory/regulatory processes
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to develop and document scalable finance processes and controls, driving efficiencies and reducing reporting timelines
• Assist in implementing a new ERP/Finance system within the next 12 months
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller to improve spend efficiency across Group entities

The Successful Applicant

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Ideal for a first-time mover from Practice
• Up-to-date knowledge of technical accounting including FRS102
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven team management ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
