Job summary

Amber River Premier is seeking an exceptional Financial Planning Team Leader to support our team of Chartered Financial Planners. This is a dual-role combining leadership with hands-on client advisory work for High-Net-Worth clients.

This role will manage a 4-5 adviser team, focus on capacity planning, recruitment, and development, while personally servicing a select portfolio of complex clients and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser.
• Strong understanding of wealth management, pensions, investments, protection and the wider UK financial services market.
• Experience leading, coaching and mentoring advisers and building high-performing teams.
• Exceptional commercial awareness, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse business performance data and turn insights into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a high-performing team of Chartered Financial Planners, initially 4-5 Advisers, growing over time.
• Drive adviser capacity planning, recruitment, development, retention and succession planning.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality independent financial advice meeting regulatory requirements.
• Own and optimise advice processes for consistency, efficiency and scalability.
• Use management information to identify growth opportunities and productivity improvements.
• Conduct regular 1-2-1s and PDPs with the team.
