Consultant, Financial Planning - Taunton, Somerset

The role

We’re looking for a Consultant to join our Financial Planning team, based in our Taunton office, covering the local area. The role involves managing a client portfolio and providing holistic financial advice across all areas.

You will be supported by a team of Paraplanners and Sales Support Administrators, allowing you to focus on the advice process. Additionally, you will develop strong relationships with our accountancy partners and other professional connections to attract new clients.

What we need from you

• Commercial focus with experience working in a professional environment and networking to develop business
• Chartered status or a clear pathway to achieve it within 12-18 months, along with pursuit of additional specialist qualifications
• Strong relationship-building skills with introducers inside and outside of a firm
• Presentation and public speaking abilities
• Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) client database/back office and paperless systems
• Proficiency with e-commerce and paperless technology
