Job summary

Armstrong Watson in Glasgow is recruiting a Financial Planning Assistant Supervisor to lead a team of FP Assistants and provide first-line admin support to our Financial Planning Consultants. You will ensure compliance and client-review readiness, while handling queries and coaching the team.

The role requires experience in financial services administration, strong diary management, and a willingness to complete a Certificate in Financial Planning. A Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative capacity within financial services.
• Experience supporting a Financial Advisor.
• Willing to work towards completing a Certificate in Financial Planning.
• Strong organisational and diary management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide relevant documentation to the Financial Planning Consultants ahead of client meetings.
• Ensure accurate completion of compliance requirements.
• Ensure that the administrative requirements are complete for the client review processes.
• Respond to client queries.
• Conduct 1-1 meetings, quarterly review meetings and annual goal setting meetings with direct reports.
• Provide general training and development to assigned team.
