Job Description:

This role is for a Healthcare FP&A Controller based in Central London with hybrid working (3 days in the office). The successful candidate will act as a Business Partner between finance and Care Groups, owning the financial planning and forecasting for the Care Group.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Care Group P&L to drive financial performance.
• Coordinate with the central FP&A team for plan/forecast inputs and assumptions.
• Serve as the financial contact for the Care Group, providing business partnering and financial analysis.
• Evaluate the long-term service model, providing strategic financial advice.
• Build strong relationships with senior leadership and influence financial decisions.
• Provide insightful commentary aligned with reporting cycles.
• Collaborate on staffing controls and efficiency improvements with clinical teams.
• Oversee staffing models, challenge resource requests, and monitor variances.
• Identify supply efficiencies with procurement.
• Lead profitability analysis and implement improvements.
• Conduct benchmarking against competitors.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of driving financial improvements.
• Experience managing a P&L or segments thereof.
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, comfortable with non-financial audiences, especially clinicians.
• Healthcare experience is desirable.
• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Degree 2:2 or higher.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and automation skills.
