Job summary

Trace | Expert Accountancy & Finance Recruitment is seeking an FP&A Analyst for a 3-month fixed-term contract in London. You will support financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the agency's global operations, turning data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

You'll develop financial models, improve reporting processes, and help introduce automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with XLOOKUP, VSTACK, SUMIFS, PivotTables and Power Query.
• Experience building and maintaining financial models and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience consolidating and analysing data from multiple systems and sources.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and confidently.
• Experience using Power BI or similar BI tool.
• Exposure to FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting.
• Experience within a professional services, agency or project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Senior FP&A Analyst with timely and accurate group reporting across regions.
• Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure consistent, high-quality global reporting.
• Consolidate and analyse revenue projections, new business pipeline, intercompany balances, freelancer spend, headcount movements and P&L variances.
• Prepare the Executive Summary and Management Accounts presentation using consolidated group figures for the leadership team.
• Get involved in pricing analysis, margin improvement and cost management initiatives.
• Partner with regional and group finance teams to continually improve reporting quality and consistency.
• Support client reporting requirements and build bespoke financial models where needed.
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary to help drive better business decisions.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear, engaging insights that make sense to non-financial stakeholders.

This is a great chance to join a growing global business and work closely with the Senior FP&A team, helping turn numbers into insights that genuinely influence business decisions.

As an FP&A Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the agency's global operations. You'll bring together financial and operational data from multiple regions, make sense of the detail and turn it into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

What you'll be doing
