I am partnering with a well-regarded financial planning firm to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a client-focused, professional team and play an integral role in delivering high-quality financial planning services.
As Financial Planning Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with FCA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Processing new business applications across pensions, investments, and protection
Submitting and tracking Letters of Authority (LOAs)
Obtaining and analysing client policy information from providers
Updating internal systems to reflect the progress of client cases and business pipelines
Liaising with product providers to ensure timely processing of applications and requests
Communicating with clients to gather outstanding information or provide progress updates
Responding to client and provider queries via phone, email, and post
Managing daily administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and handling correspondence
Ensuring all work complies with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty principles
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a similar IFA or wealth management administrative role
Knowledge of financial products such as pensions, investments, and life assurance
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Effective communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Ability to prioritise and manage workload independently
