Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning firm in London who are looking to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator. This role offers hybrid working: 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home.
Purpose of role;
To provide comprehensive support to advisory staff, aiming to deliver a world-class service as part of the company's Client Proposition.
Duties & Responsibilities
There are five main areas of responsibility:
Assist Advisors and/or Planners with developing and maintaining client relationships, including research, preparing summaries, obtaining quotations, and processing applications.
Process new business applications, track proposals, resolve issues, and maintain records on Curo and SharePoint.
Arrange quotes for individual protection and liaise with external providers.
Process statements from providers, verify amounts, investigate discrepancies, and notify Advisors of issues.
Required Capabilities
Desired Knowledge, Skill & Experience
Achieving or working towards the CII’s Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent is preferred. A related degree is an advantage but not required.
Strong administrative and communication skills, experience with delegation and task completion, proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with role-specific software (Curo, Voyant, etc.) are essential.
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within an IFA firm is preferred. Experience with investment managers, platforms, or other professional services (accountants, lawyers) will also be considered.
