Job summary

The Titan Wealth Group is expanding its Private Client division in Birmingham, offering a hybrid, full-time role. You will service clients with investable assets up to £250,000, delivering tailored financial planning and advice through a desk-based model.

Ideal candidates hold the level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and have paraplanning or private client experience. 35 hours per week, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home in the UK.

• Experience in private client financial planning and wealth management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The role

The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent financial planning, advice, and service to clients via a desk based service model, you will be servicing existing clients with investable assets of up to £250,000. This department of the business is leading in tech adoption to enhance financial planner and client experiences.

This is a growing team, and will provide a fantastic opportunity for those already within Private Client roles or with a Paraplanning background, who hold the level 4 diploma (essential) and are looking to start their career within Financial Planning.

This is a hybrid role- Birmingham - full-time permanent role (35hours a week) - 3 days a week working from the office, 2 can be UK home-based.

Job Responsibilities

• A focus on New business development. With proactive client contacting to covert legacy clients to our ongoing service proposition.
• A focus on actively engaging with and reviewing existing clients to deliver
• our ongoing service proposition.
• To provide holistic financial planning solution to private client across the fullsuite of financial planning solutions.
• Achieving revenue targets set by the business and regional manager.
• Proactively drive for cross selling and referring business into other parts ofthe group.
• Maintain & nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling newadvice needs where appropriate.
• Generate new client enquiries and generates advice income from these.
• Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local/regional/ nationalplans.
• Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance withrelevant regulations and Titan policies and values.
• Maintenance of ‘Fit and Proper’ status through continuous professional
• development, suitable development opportunities and maintenance of SPS.
• Evidence and maintain knowledge of company policies, processes andguidance.
• Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processesand regulatory requirements.
• Use standard template documentation approved by the company
• Ensure technical knowledge and general industry knowledge is alwaysmaintained.
• Delivery of a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate clientoutcomes, client journey and client communication.
• Speed of response/turnaround time in accordance with service standards setout in procedures and clients kept appropriately appraised.
• Processes are executed in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced byfile checks, observations, and client feedback.
• To establish relationships with other business groups in the Titan group toachieve reciprocal business.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professionalconnections (ensuring appropriate agreements in place) to develop additionalbusiness opportunities.
• Use objectives to focus on key business areas.
• Highlight personal training needs to ensure a consistent level of service isoffered to the business.
• Ensure reading and product knowledge is always up to date to maintain anddevelop quality of reports and research.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required, always bearing in mind TCF andthe needs of the business.
• To highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department.
• To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
• Adhere to consumer duty.

Role Requirements

• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases.
• Cash Flow Modelling (preferable but not essential).
• Excellent standard of written and verbal communication.
• Technical competence across all areas of financial planning.
• Good decision-making skills.
• Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to coach and provide feedback.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations.
• Essential - Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
