Exchange Street Financial Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Diploma-qualified Financial Planner to take over an established client bank across multiple offices, with a planned handover from the outgoing adviser. The role offers generous salary potential and bonus opportunities from year one.
There is a clear path to equity participation through an internal funding model, supported by full paraplanning and administration.
Salary/Rate: Basic Salary up to £60,000 with Bonus Opportunities
In 2010, we helped a Financial Planner join a successful regional advice firm. Seven years later, he became a shareholding director.
Now he's asked us to help find the next generation of advisers who could follow in his footsteps.
The business has grown significantly over the years and now manages around £1.5bn in client assets. It's Chartered and operates under the direction of a local management team.
With several experienced advisers approaching retirement, the firm is looking for Financial Planners to take over established client banks, with a planned handover alongside the outgoing adviser.
There are three opportunities available:
Each portfolio also generates significant new business opportunities which are expected to generate upwards of £100,000 in initial advice fees.
You'll have a planned handover with the retiring adviser, giving you time to build relationships and get to know your clients properly.
And with full paraplanning and administration support, you'll be able to concentrate on what you're employed to do. Advise clients, develop relationships and grow your business.
But there's a longer-term opportunity here too.
The firm has a track record of helping advisers progress into ownership, supported by an internal funding model that makes equity participation a realistic possibility.
Our relationship with the business goes back nearly 20 years. We've seen first-hand how it's developed, and we know the opportunities it can create for people with the right attitude and ambition.
You'll already be a Diploma-qualified Financial Planner with competent adviser status. We're open-minded about how long you've been advising.
More important is your character, commercial awareness and ability to build lasting client relationships.
You'll need to be organised, comfortable managing a busy diary and confident identifying opportunities to provide additional advice to existing clients.
And ideally, you'll have ambitions beyond simply looking after a client bank and collecting a salary.
You don't need to arrive with your own clients. You don't need to be generating new business from scratch. But you do need the drive to make the most of what you're being given.
