The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join a well-established financial planning business and take responsibility for an established client bank, consisting of profitable, high net worth households.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and wants the opportunity to inherit a quality book while continuing to develop new business and grow assets under management.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for an established book of clients
• Build and develop trusted, long-term relationships with high net worth clients
• Conduct regular client reviews and ensure advice reflects clients' changing circumstances and objectives
• Deliver a holistic financial planning experience
• Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities to increase assets and ongoing fees
• Generate new clients through referrals, professional connections, networking and existing relationships
• Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and develop new opportunities
• Develop and execute an individual business plan focused on client acquisition, revenue and AuM growth
• Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, client service and professional conduct
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and share best practice

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record of building and developing client relationships.

You will ideally have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
• Chartered status, or be working towards Chartered status
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Experience working with high net worth clients
• A strong network and proven ability to generate new business
• Commercial awareness and a strong new business mindset
• Excellent organisational and administration skills
• A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and client outcomes
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
