Financial Planner – Servicing Role

Salary: £70k - £100k (negotiable) + bonuses

Location: Boutique IFA Firm, near Maidstone, Kent

Hybrid Working Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established independent wealth planning firm near Maidstone, Kent. This firm provides whole-of-market financial advice to high-net-worth retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners across Sussex, Kent, and London. With a portfolio of c.400 clients and £200m+ AUM, they have built long-term, trusted relationships that span over 30 years.

Role Overview:

As a Financial Planner, you will manage a retiring adviser’s book of clients generating £250k+ in revenue. You’ll also take on a selection of the Managing Director’s 300 clients, providing a unique opportunity to manage and nurture an established client base. The firm is looking for a dedicated individual with at least 5 years of advising experience, ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered status. You’ll be responsible for building lasting relationships with clients, providing expert advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protection, and business sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an established book of clients from a retiring adviser, generating £250k+ in revenue.
• Take on a selection of the MD’s clients and build strong relationships.
• Advise on pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, protection, and business sales.
• Work alongside a supportive team of administrators and paraplanners.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of advising experience.
• Chartered status () or working towards it.
• A desire to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ability to expand the firm's reach in Kent while managing existing clients.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: £70k - £100k (negotiable).
• Bonuses: 30% paid above x 3 validation.
