Job summary

Benchmark Capital Limited in Horsham is seeking an ambitious Financial Planner to join our Advice - Employed team. You will deliver holistic financial planning, build lasting client relationships and contribute to growth with support towards Chartered status.

You'll work with experienced colleagues, access leading technology, and benefit from a clear development path, ongoing training, and a modern, collaborative office environment at Broadlands Campus.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
• Commitment to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Around three years' experience providing regulated financial advice.
• Strong knowledge across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and tax-efficient planning.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Client-first approach with high professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice to private clients.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-finds and understand clients' financial objectives.
• Prepare and present financial plans and suitability reports.
• Advise across investments, pensions, retirement and tax-efficient planning.
• Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service.
• Develop your client portfolio while identifying growth/referral opportunities.
• Collaborate with paraplanners and administrators to deliver an outstanding client experience.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry best practice.
• Pursue Chartered Financial Planner status with support from the firm.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

We're looking for ambitious advisers who are passionate about delivering excellent client outcomes and developing their careers.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
• A commitment to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Around three years' experience providing regulated financial advice within a financial planning practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and tax-efficient financial planning.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A client-first approach with high professional and ethical standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365, CRM systems and financial planning software.
• Experience in areas such as pensions, trusts or later life planning, or professional memberships including STEP or SOLLA, would be advantageous but are not essential.
