Job summary

Benchmark Capital in Horsham, United Kingdom, is recruiting a Financial Planner to provide holistic financial advice to private clients and build lasting client relationships. You’ll conduct fact-finds, prepare plans, and advise across investments, pensions, retirement, and tax-efficient strategies, collaborating with paraplanners for an exceptional client experience.

You will be supported towards Chartered Financial Planner status, with access to industry-leading technology, and a modern office

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
• Commitment to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Around three years' regulated financial planning experience.
• Strong knowledge across investments, pensions, retirement, protection, and tax-efficient planning.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Client-first approach with high professional and ethical standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with pensions, trusts, or later-life planning; STEP or SOLLA advantageous.

What you'll do

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

We're looking for ambitious advisers who are passionate about delivering excellent client outcomes and developing their careers.

You’ll ideally have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
• A commitment to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Around three years' experience providing regulated financial advice within a financial planning practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and tax- efficient financial planning.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A client- first approach with high professional and ethical standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365, CRM systems and financial planning software.
• Experience in areas such as pensions, trusts or later life planning, or professional memberships including STEP or SOLLA, would be advantageous but are not essential.
