Job description

We are looking for a Chartered Financial Planner to join our growing team.

Working alongside an established team of Financial Planners, you will inherit a diverse portfolio of HNW and VHNW clients, providing an opportunity to maintain excellent client relationships and deliver exceptional results. Our firm prioritizes excellence in every interaction, emphasizing high-quality solutions over high volume.

You will nurture client relationships, manage your portfolio effectively, and provide competent financial advice, ensuring Progeny’s high service standards are upheld.

Deliver intelligent, creative solutions to client issues, communicate financial plans clearly, and help clients achieve their future goals.

We seek someone with an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, experienced with a broad range of provider products and services, demonstrating delivery in these areas.

This role offers the chance to become a subject matter expert, expand your knowledge, and develop further. We support you with:

Location

We are hiring in London, Chichester, or Fareham. These roles are flexible, combining home-based work with travel for meetings, supporting work-life balance.

What you will do

1. Deliver exceptional client service: meet client demands, update them regularly, and build trust.
2. Provide financial advice: communicate plans clearly, adhere to regulatory standards, and meet activity targets.
3. Manage review processes: ensure processes align with client service agreements.
4. Maintain compliance: keep thorough, accurate client files and documentation.
5. Offer creative solutions: proactively and reactively address client issues.
6. Represent Progeny: learn and articulate the firm’s financial planning offerings effectively.

About you

To succeed, you will be or have:

• Diploma in Financial Planning: ideally an Advanced diploma, with our firm holding Corporate Chartered status.
• Knowledge in key areas: investment, retirement, protection, estate planning.
• Well-rounded professional: experience with a wide range of provider products and active delivery of services.
• Client-centric approach: proven ability to build and maintain relationships, with at least 2 years in a client advisory role.
