Based in our Brighton office, you will work with colleagues across the wider business, maintain high compliance standards, and apply strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning to deliver tailored advice.

Qualifications

• Chartered Financial Planner status (CII or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ regulated advisory experience (typically 10+ at this level).
• Evidence of successful business development through professional networks.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced advisers.

We are seeking a Chartered Financial Planner to join Benchmark Financial Planning. This role suits an experienced adviser with a strong track record of acquiring and retaining clients, an established professional network, and the credibility to handle complex client needs.

You will manage a portfolio of affluent clients, lead sophisticated planning cases, support business growth, and mentor junior colleagues. This is a senior role with real influence on clients, people, and the wider business.

What you'll do

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Confidence dealing with high‑net‑worth clients.

• Strong working knowledge of financial planning systems and tools.

The base

You’ll be based at our Brighton office, providing a strong local base while working closely with colleagues and advisers across the wider business, including interaction with our head office in Horsham.
