This role is within BDO’s Financial Model Assurance Services team, providing transactional model assurance and financial modelling services to global sponsors, banks, financial institutions, and funds involved in major infrastructure, energy, and digital projects, often in collaboration with our international network. These projects include petrochemical plants, LNG facilities, water desalination, wind and rail projects across the UK and Europe, government transport projects in the Benelux, and digital infrastructure and waste-to-energy projects in the UK.

The Director position involves leading the team, deputising for partners, planning, monitoring, reviewing work, and managing quality control, business development, and practice growth initiatives.

You should have:

• Experience managing financial model audits throughout the engagement lifecycle, including commercial management
• Extensive project finance experience, including origination and delivery of financial modelling and assurance mandates
• Knowledge of PPP, infrastructure, and renewables sectors is advantageous; experience with quality and risk reviews
• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
• Strong commercial management skills and a track record in business development and client relationship management
• Proven leadership in managing and developing teams
