This role is suited to someone highly organised, analytical, and confident working with complex financial documents and case files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft letters of claim, letters of complaint, witness statements, schedules of loss, and other case documentation.
  • liaise with clients to obtain key information, provide updates, and ensure they understand each stage of their claim.
  • Prepare case summaries, legal research notes, and evidence bundles for solicitors, barristers, and internal reviewers.
  • Communicate with lenders, financial institutions, credit providers, and third parties to obtain documents, negotiate outcomes, or elevate complaints.

  • Maintain accurate records, update case management systems, and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assist fee earners with pre‑action protocol obligations and prepare cases for litigation where settlement is not achieved.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the team.
About You
  • Experience within financial mis‑selling, consumer claims, litigation, debt recovery, or a similar legal environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence reviewing financial documents, bank statements, and lender information.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft clear and accurate documents.
  • Strong client‑facing skills and confidence speaking with clients from all backgrounds with empathy and professionalism.
  • Highly organised, deadline‑driven, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of case management systems and Excel.
  • A proactive, motivated approach and a genuine interest in developing a career in financial litigation.
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Hybrid working model (office/home split).
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a growing specialist team.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
