Job summary

Fexco Property Services is recruiting a Financial Integration Accountant to join the Head Office in Salisbury. The role supports the Client Accounts Department by delivering final client financial statements, integrating new client financials, and offboarding financial data for clients leaving the service.

The position focuses on onboarding new sites, coordinating with clients and prior managers, and ensuring service levels meet client requirements within FPS brand standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth onboarding and financial integration to Qube for new clients.
• Liaise with clients and previous managers to gather required financial information.
• Align client accounting with FPS standards and brands’ workflows.
• Complete year-end service charge and first-year statutory accounts if required.
• Assist with migration of client data during Group acquisitions or migrations.
• Ensure accurate transfer of client financial data and funds to new managers.
• Handle queries from Property Managers and clients regarding handover or service charges.
• Communicate with clients via email, video calls, phone, and in-person as needed.

About this Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Client Financial Integration Accountant to join our Fexco Property Services brand based at our Head Office in the City Centre of Salisbury. Based within the Financial Integration team of our Client Accounts Department, this role liaises with internal and external parties to produce the final financial statements for our clients, the integration of all our new client's financials and the offboarding of financial information for clients who end our services. This role is based within our Head office in the heart of Salisbury.

Main Duties and Objectives

• Oversee the smooth and prompt financial onboarding, including the financial integration to our database (Qube), for all new clients that have been previously managed by another party.
• Liaise with the client and previous managing agent to collate all financial information required to complete the financial integration.
• Understand the client's financial requirements to ensure expected service levels are met.
• Bring the client accounting of new sites in line with the FPS, or any of the FPS brands, way of working.
• Responsible for completion of the year end service charge and, if required, statutory RMC/Freehold accounts for the first year in management.
• Assist with the migration of all client's financial information for any Group acquisitions or migrations.
• Ensure for lost sites, the passing of client's financial information and funds to the new managing agent is accurate, complete and in line with regulations and best practice.
• Assisting with queries from the Property Managers and clients related to the handover of financial information, or financial position of the service charge.
• Issue out communication to clients and customers where required.
• Dealing and solving both internal and external queries by e-mail, video call, telephone and where required, in-person.

Essential Skills

• Relevant service charge experience gained in an Accountingant environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly analytical with an attention to detail
• Highly analytical.
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
• An effective team player

Bonus Skills

• Experience of Extended Trial Balance
• Fully or part qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA, or QBE
• Experience of using QUBE software system
• Previous experience working with external clients.
