Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London is seeking an Analyst for the Financial Institutions Group Coverage. You will evaluate companies, develop models for M&A transactions, prepare industry and product analyses for pitches, monitor capital markets and interpret relevant data for clients or live deals.

You will work in a hybrid model, supporting senior bankers across the FI sector and delivering complex financial analyses, client presentations and valuation work while maintaining rigorous judgement and

Deutsche Bank’s Origination & Advisory business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services of a leading Global Investment Bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.

You will be evaluating companies, developing models for M&A transactions, preparing industry and product analyses for pitches, monitoring capital markets and interpreting relevant data for our clients, or getting involved in the execution of live deals.

Your key responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting in origination and execution of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Leverage Finance (LDCM) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions

• Supporting senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts across the Financial Institutions Group sector,

• Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit and financial modelling, preparing complex financial analysis and models

• Supporting the preparation of client presentations and pitches and speaking to clients on a daily basis

• Strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills, with creative problem solving abilities

• Ability to represent and support the firm before management teams and other deal professionals
