Job Summary:

This PE backed B2B Events company, looking to hire a Finance Director who can help spearhead organic and M&A growth, delivering a successful exit in the next 2 years. The company have grown on average 20 YoY in the last 3 years and is looking to increase this through international expansion.

As Finance Director, you’ll have full responsibility for financial operations and will be key to enabling informed strategic decision making across the business, which will be key to ensuring they hit their ambitious growth targets in the coming years.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll head up the Finance team leading FP&A activities, financial reporting and compliance, with a strong focus on managing working capital.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company strategy.
Improve insight on Event Budgeting, Profitability Analysis and KPI’s
Manage key stakeholder relationships – CEO, PE investors, Banks, Auditors
Improve financial processes , systems and controls
Ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are fully met
Support on M&A – DD through to integration
Mentor, motivate and develop the existing finance team

Key Requirements:

Strong history of financial excellence, previous Finance Director / CFO / VP experience is a must
Experience within the B2B Event / Media industry is highly desirable – knowledge of Event Budgeting and Profitability analysis etc
Has worked within a PE environment previously, experience of an exit desirable
Strong history of organic business growth
An ability to construct and deliver complex financial models.
