Job Description: Financial Crime Systems Analyst

Business Unit: COO, Financial Crime

Salary Range: £39,200 - £49,000 DOE + benefits

Location: UK Remote - occasional travel to hub

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

Join our team responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and performance of our financial crime systems, including transaction monitoring, name screening, and payment screening. Your role will involve configuring and calibrating these systems to mitigate risks and meet policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage regulatory watchlists and input files for sanctions screening, ensuring compliance with policy.
2. Configure and calibrate screening systems, including designing and reviewing system rules and parameters.
3. Explore technological advancements to improve system performance and strengthen controls.
4. Support change initiatives, including defining requirements, testing, and implementation.
5. Develop and deliver management information for performance reporting and governance.
6. Conduct data analytics on large datasets to inform system development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Firco Continuity 5.7 or above and writing rules for Fircosoft Continuity.
• Managing watch lists using Fircosoft Multi List Manager.
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL or SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Experience with watch list data, including PEPs and sanctions.
• Understanding of control frameworks and control testing for name screening solutions.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experience with name screening, adverse media screening, or transaction monitoring.
• Managing and analyzing XML data.
