Join us as a Financial Crime Technology Architecture & Strategy Lead.

1. For someone with experience in defining enterprise architecture, strategy, and roadmaps for complex enterprises, this is an excellent opportunity to join our business.
2. You'll own and drive the full end-to-end business technology strategy and architecture for Financial Crime, including functional, platform, data, hosting, with associated roadmaps.
3. You’ll ensure alignment with the bank’s simplification strategy and co-create architectural roadmaps through active engagement with functions and franchises.
4. You’ll ensure our architectural direction improves quality, accelerates value delivery to customers, and drives innovation, while keeping our services and applications safe and secure.
5. With valuable exposure, you’ll build and leverage relationships across the bank to ensure commercially focused decisions that create long-term value.

What you'll do

As a Financial Crime Technology Architecture & Strategy Lead, you’ll define and communicate current, resulting, and target state architecture for your scope. You’ll ensure the architecture links to, and is informed by, our overall strategy and architecture, producing desired outcomes.

You’ll influence business strategies at an organizational level, identify transformational opportunities, and drive effective architecture governance aligned with our business strategy.

Additionally, you’ll:

1. Translate architecture roadmaps into work packages for incremental value delivery.
2. Create and maintain architecture models, roadmaps, standards, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with higher-level models.
3. Work closely with business owners, portfolio managers, product managers, and release managers to define target architectures.
4. Lead complex architectural transformations, coordinating across design and platform teams.
5. Utilize continuous feedback to foster adaptive practices and drive collaboration around a common technical vision.

The skills you'll need

Expertise in application architecture and at least one of business, data, or infrastructure architecture is required, with in-depth knowledge of the others. Experience in Financial Crime, Fraud, or related fields is preferred.

You should have excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to senior leadership, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Additional skills include:

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management
• Experience developing and communicating architectures and proposals
• Understanding of industry frameworks like TOGAF and ArchiMate
• Experience working with vendors and products
• Knowledge of systems development lifecycle and best practices
• Understanding of hardware, software, and systems engineering
