Additional duties include:

  • Create and deliver financial crime training that meets legal requirements and helps protect the business from financial crime risks.
  • Review reports and investigate to spot high-risk people or transactions.
  • Support and advise teams and projects to make sure they follow the rules and reduce financial crime risks.
  • Collate and prepare reports for senior leaders and regulators to support decision-making and meet legal requirements.
  • Check and review high-risk processes and systems to make sure controls are working and highlight any compliance concerns.
  • Monitor and respond to external alerts or requests to help protect the business and support law enforcement.
  • Collaborate with other divisions such as Finance, Claims, and external parties to support investigations.
About you

As a Financial Crime Specialist, you'll have strong decision-making abilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly present findings and recommendations. Attention to detail is essential, along with a logical and analytical mindset to assess complex information, investigations, identify patterns, and evaluate potential risks effectively.

Technical skills required:

  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of UK financial crime regulations (essential).
  • Experience of practical application of financial crime and anti-money laundering regulations (essential).
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (essential).
  • ICA Certification (desirable).
