Job summary

Barclays is seeking a PBWM Financial Crime Risk QA to contribute to governance, oversight and quality assurance of Financial Crime processes across Private Bank & Wealth Management. You will review process effectiveness, support policy application and drive continuous improvement while engaging with stakeholders.

The role focuses on risk assessment, QA activities, and enhancing procedures to ensure compliance and improved customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Financial Crime environment including CDD, risk assessment and lifecycle standards.
• Proven ability to conduct QA, QC, testing or assurance activities and review adherence to policies.
• Ability to use review outcomes and data to identify themes and improvement opportunities.
• Clear communication with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls within Financial Crime processes.
• Collaborate across bank units to improve control effectiveness and document findings.
• Identify weaknesses and drive continuous improvement in line with policy and risk framework.
• Develop reports communicating key risk findings, control weaknesses, and recommendations to control owners and senior management.
