The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a Financial Crime Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that support supervisory decisions and help prevent financial crime across the UK.
You will work within the Risk, Data and Strategy Team, developing specialist data analytics skills in a high-profile regulatory setting and collaborating with colleagues across divisions to deliver impactful outcomes.

Salary: National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £43,100 to £48,000 and London £47,300 to £53,000 (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

SPC oversees firms and individuals (supervision), creates and reviews the rules by which they operate (policy) and identifies and remedies ineffective competition in markets (competition. The Financial Crime Market Intervention department, within the Specialist Directorate, provides specialist expertise to help reduce the risk that regulated businesses are used for financial crime. The department includes four Financial Crime Specialist Supervision teams, a Sanctions Supervision Team, a Fraud Supervision Team and a Risk, Data and Strategy Team. Working with colleagues across the FCA and external partners, it focuses on money laundering, financial sanctions, fraud, bribery and corruption. This role sits in the Risk, Data and Strategy Team.
