Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial management and provide strategic financial guidance to help drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity while aligning strategies with the company’s goals.

The role includes:

• Tracking and analyzing key KPIs.
• Partnering with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
• Providing financial modeling, support for fundraising, and board reporting.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Leading budgeting, variance analysis, and recommending cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities.
• Monitoring cash flow and creating forecasts.
• Developing financial strategies with senior leadership.
• Ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, and staying updated with regulations.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handling monthly payroll and statutory deductions.
• Implementing cost-saving measures and optimizing financial systems.
• Delivering clear financial reports to stakeholders and board members.
• Working closely with the Executive team on operational evaluations.

The Candidate should have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
• Alternatively, sector-relevant experience with 10+ years.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred).
• Comprehensive accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
