Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they seek a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic guidance to support sustainable growth. You will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and alignment with company goals.

The role includes:

• Tracking and analyzing key KPIs
• Partnering with leadership on pricing, unit economics, and growth forecasts
• Providing financial modelling, supporting fundraising, and preparing board reports
• Preparing and presenting financial statements in compliance with standards
• Leading budgeting, variance analysis, and cost/revenue optimization
• Monitoring cash flow and creating forecasts
• Developing financial strategies with senior leadership
• Ensuring tax compliance and managing audits
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Running monthly payroll and managing staff benefits and deductions
• Implementing cost-saving measures
• Optimizing financial systems and reporting tools
• Delivering financial reports and communicating data effectively
• Collaborating with the Executive team on operations

The Candidate should have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant post-qualified experience
• Alternatively, sector-relevant experience with 10+ years
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred)
• Comprehensive accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
