Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic guidance to drive sustainable growth. You will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and align strategies with company goals.

The role includes:

• Tracking and analyzing key KPIs
• Partnering with leadership on pricing, unit economics, and growth forecasts
• Providing financial modelling, supporting fundraising, and board reporting
• Preparing and presenting financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards
• Leading budgeting, variance analysis, and cost optimization
• Monitoring cash flow and creating forecasts
• Developing financial strategies aligned with business objectives
• Ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, and staying updated on regulations
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Running monthly payroll, including benefits and deductions
• Implementing cost-saving measures and optimizing systems
• Delivering financial reports to stakeholders and communicating complex data effectively
• Collaborating with the Executive team on operational evaluations

The Candidate should:

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience
• Be experienced as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, ideally in SaaS or IT/Tech sectors
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills
• Have strong Excel skills and familiarity with Xero (preferred)
• Have comprehensive accounting experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
