Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial management and provide strategic financial guidance to help drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity while aligning financial strategies with the company’s goals.

The role includes:

1. Tracking and analyzing key KPIs.
2. Partnering with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
3. Providing financial modelling, support for fundraising, and board reporting.
4. Preparing and presenting financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
5. Leading budgeting, variance analysis, and cost/revenue optimization.
6. Monitoring cash flow and creating forecasts.
7. Developing financial strategies with senior leadership.
8. Ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, and staying updated on regulations.
9. Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
10. Running monthly payroll and managing staff benefits and deductions.
11. Implementing cost-saving measures.
12. Optimizing financial systems and reporting tools.
13. Delivering financial reports to stakeholders and board, communicating complex data clearly.
14. Collaborating with the Executive team on operations.

The Candidate should:

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience or have sector-relevant experience with 10+ years.
• Have proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech sectors.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills.
• Be proficient in Excel and preferably Xero.
• Have comprehensive accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
