Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis.

As they scale, they seek a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee financial management and provide strategic guidance to support sustainable growth. The role involves collaborating with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and align strategies with company goals.

The role:

1. Track and analyze key KPIs.
2. Partner with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
3. Provide financial modeling, support for fundraising, and board reporting.
4. Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards.
5. Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and cost/revenue optimization.
6. Monitor and forecast cash flow.
7. Develop and implement financial strategies with senior leadership.
8. Ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and stay updated on regulations.
9. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
10. Handle monthly payroll, benefits, and statutory deductions.
11. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
12. Optimize financial systems and reporting tools.
13. Deliver financial reports to stakeholders and communicate data effectively.
14. Collaborate with the Executive team on operational evaluations.

The Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Alternatively, qualified by experience with sector-relevant 10+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager, preferably in SaaS or IT/Tech.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Xero (preferred).
• Comprehensive accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
