POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Controller for International Health Delivery Services (IHDS) will oversee the financial operations of IHDS, including reporting, analysis, and forecasting. This role manages expenses and supports strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive financial management experience in a large, multinational corporation, preferably with a background in international health insurance. The position leads a team of approximately 10 and influences other finance teams through a matrix reporting structure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Act as a strategic partner to departments, providing financial guidance to support decision-making.
  2. Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, develop benchmarking, and collaborate on implementation.
  3. Lead cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and systems, aligning with long-term strategies.
  4. Oversee financial reporting, including preparation and presentation of reports for IHDS and related functions.
  5. Manage quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes, including intercompany allocations, working with leaders and finance teams.
  6. Conduct financial analysis to manage expenses, provide insights, and support strategic decisions.
  7. Lead and mentor the finance team of about 10 professionals and coordinate with local finance teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a multinational corporation, preferably in insurance or finance sectors.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial management systems such as IBM TM1 or similar.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
