POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Controller for International Health Delivery Services (IHDS) will lead the financial operations of the organization, including reporting, analysis, and forecasting. The role involves managing expenses and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have substantial financial management experience in a large, multinational corporation, preferably with a background in international health insurance. The position manages a team of about 10 and influences other finance teams through a matrix reporting environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Act as a strategic business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance to enhance decision-making.
  2. Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, develop benchmarking, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement initiatives.
  3. Lead cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and systems, aligning with long-term strategies.
  4. Oversee financial reporting, including preparation and presentation of reports for IHDS and various functions.
  5. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including intercompany allocations, working with leaders and finance teams.
  6. Conduct financial analysis to support expense management and strategic decisions.
  7. Manage and mentor the finance team and coordinate with local finance teams in a matrix structure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • CPA or similar certification (preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a multinational, preferably in insurance or finance sectors.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial systems such as IBM TM1 or similar.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
