Job summary

IPS Finance in Leeds is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead and develop the finance function within a growing construction group. You will own monthly reporting, consolidation across entities, cashflow planning and board level analysis.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong management accounting and hands-on use of financial systems. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience of working across multiple entities would be beneficial.
• Good understanding of controls, processes and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Group reporting and consolidation across multiple entities.
• Cash flow forecasting and management.
• Preparation of Board reports and financial analysis.
• Budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Management of year-end accounts and audit processes.
• VAT, PAYE and CIS returns.
• Supporting lender and external stakeholder relationships.
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Developing KPI reporting and providing commercial insight to senior management.
