Job summary

OLIX seeks a Financial Controller to build and run the control, reporting, and accounting engine during a key growth phase. Reporting to the CFO, you will own month-end close, produce management and statutory numbers, and help roll out our ERP in a fast-scaling hardware business.

You'll work across finance, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to ensure clean data flows and auditable processes, taking ownership from day one as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with Big Four training.
• Strong technical accounting foundations and accuracy.
• Hands-on in a flat, small team with limited support.
• Fluency in IFRS and UK GAAP; global operations anticipated.
• Desirable exposure to manufacturing/supply chain finance.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial operations (AP) and month-end close.
• Prepare accurate numbers across payroll, capital, taxes, and reporting.
• Support ERP selection, implementation, and ongoing runs.
• Establish audit-ready controls and lead external audit.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing for data flow.
• Provide data foundation for FP&A and commercial finance.
• Expand scope over time as the finance function grows.
