Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Controller near Coulsdon to take ownership of day-to-day finances and work closely with Directors. This hands-on role emphasizes meticulous reporting, VAT compliance, and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate will have AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualifications, strong Excel and Xero skills, and the ability to provide a clear financial picture for the business. Salary £38-42k DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Bookkeeper, Management Accountant or similar.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
• Good Excel skills and experience with Xero accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own priorities.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work directly with directors.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of what the numbers mean for the wider business.
